This year I will again be working at the Ruhrtriennale. The production Diamante by Mariano Pensotti at the Kraftzentrale will be sound engineered by me, among others.

For the Ruhrtriennale, film director, theater maker and writer Mariano Pensotti, born in Buenos Aires in 1973, is building a walk-in model of Diamante, a city privately owned by a company, in the Kraftzentrale in Duisburg.
In it, we experience together with the inhabitants – played by Argentinean and German actors – how the city is transformed over the course of a year from a flourishing social-capitalist utopia into a pre-apocalyptic horror scenario: Every morning, common sports exercises and every evening, common music making are replaced by robberies and the fear of the others who live in the surrounding Argentinean villages.
