To leave the sound of the orchestra in its directness and naturalness and still fill the room of the Kraftzentrale in Duisburg homogeneously for 1300 listeners was the challenge. The WAZ (8/29/15) even praised the sound engineering in its concert review:
„Great sound engineering – The ensemble sounds very homogeneous and even the larger choral movements are very easy to hear through. The sound engineering in the Kraftzentrale also deserves great praise. Although you can see the microphones on stage and the speakers on the ceiling, you have the impression that the music always finds the shortest way from the performer to the ear of the audience.“

Program text Ruhrtriennale: Under the musical direction of Belgian conductor René Jacobs, Collegium Vocale Gent and B’Rock Orchestra subject Haydn’s score to an expressive, almost vitalistic interpretation. For the performance in Duisburg’s Kraftzentrale, Berlin artist Julian Rosefeldt is developing a film, a moving scene that runs simultaneously with the concert. The film reflects Haydn’s idealized idea of creation from the perspective of a globalized present. In the midst of a world that man has long since subjugated, Julian Rosefeldt and René Jacobs embark on a search for the remnants of an original harmony.
