„The architecture of the brain as a model for complex urban structures?“ – This essay by brain researcher Wolf Singer inspired composer Norbert Walter Peters to superimpose neuronal, urban and musical figures.
The city of Paris becomes the material of a composition about thinking, remembering and forgetting. Texts by Walter Benjamin, Charles Baudelaire and Marcel Proust meet the speech of people who have partially lost their linguistic memory. Instrumental sounds and city sounds rhythmise the composition to the beat of neuronal vibrations.
